The 45th edition of São Paulo Fashion Week, Official Calendar of Brazilian Fashion celebrated the transformative power of creative energy. Based on the thinking of the multi-artist Conrado Segreto, one of the icons of Brazilian fashion, who had a brief and explosive career between the mid-80s and early 90s, the event seeks inspiration in design as a vital freedom of expression. In the past 25 years, the world has changed radically.

Amid the complexity and volatility of a fast-paced world, it takes more than ever to rescue the emotion and essence of the most genuine expression that comes from the soul. From the beginning, SPFW has established itself as a long-term building process, with a legacy of value and transformation through timeless creation, always with design and identity as the central focus.

In this edition, São Paulo Fashion Week occupied the Pavilhão das Culturas Brasileiras between April 21st and 26th, presenting the POW! Creative Explosion, a selection of pieces and iconic images by Conrado Segreto and also a clipping of the plume art collection of the Pavilion that integrates the Department of Municipal Museums of the Department of Culture of the city of São Paulo. For the first time, SPFW opened its space for public viewing during the season.
